Description
Here we have a harder to find variety of the Lechwe species. There are several to be found with slight variations in coloring and regions of habitation in Africa. This example is of the Southern Lechwe. A nice head up pose with a turn looking to his right into the room. Good horn lengths of 22 7/8 and 23 0/8″. Bases each measure at 7 0/8″ (inches). Typical coloring with good hair length and thickness. The detractor on this taxidermy mount is that it has some splitting on the ears. It is difficult to see when mount is hung for display, but is noticeable when looking at the back of the mount. Due to this, we have given it a rating of “Nice” for overall quality and desirability.
Overall dimensions are 44″ tall, 17″ wide and 26″ deep (nose to wall). Mount has an attached bracket and hangs on a single fastener. Buy this taxidermy for display in the lodge, cabin, home or business. Add this mount to a collection of African game species or use as a feature item.
