Description
This Ruffed Grouse is standing, facing forward in an aggressive wings open stance. A great example of a Ruffed grouse male with tail feathers fanned open. (See photos) They are named for the patch of feathers on their neck which extend out on both the males and females of the species. This male is mounted on a small piece of wood so could balance in the display case or on a shelf to be shown with a collection of North American game birds. A great mount and pose combined with excellent coloring and feathers have earned this grouse our Premier rating.
Overall mount dimensions: 13″ high x 15″ long x 12″ wide (wood base)
