Description
Here is a classic head up, forward facing pose of a North American Pronghorn. It is an average sized antelope buck with horns that are 12 2/8 and 12 3/8″ (inches) in length. Widest spread of rack is 8 4/8″. Quality taxidermy work with a nice colored mount earn this shoulder mount a rating of “Excellent”.
This antelope is from Montana where they range over much of the state, living in the hills and grasslands in large numbers. Antelope live in herds and can run over short distances at great speeds. Being a plains species, they have few natural predators, but are more vulnerable to the elements in the winter.
