Description
Here we have a large sized Mountain Lion (or cougar) life sized mount. Cat is in a defensive pose with teeth bared and claws out, but down low in a defensive position. Large terrain base with rock and wood that the cat is perched upon. A beautiful job on the taxidermy work and a life-like pose make this a great addition for the collector. Cat is moving against the wall from left to right and faces into the room over the left shoulder. Mount rates as “Excellent” for quality and appearance. The only detractor is the line along the ribs behind the left shoulder (see attached photos). Not a big distraction, but still one that needs mentioning.
This large sized mount (84″ long, 45″ high and 40″ deep) hangs on 2 well secured fasteners. Brackets (provided on mount) are spaced at 32″ which allows for hitting studs in most walls (assuming 16″ centers). Buy this mount to display with other predators and big game species or use as a stand alone item in the lodge, cabin, home or business.
Cougars range over large portions of the North American continent from Mexico to Canada and throughout much of the USA. Also known as Puma, these big cats do most of their hunting at night and have a great ability to stalk their prey with minimal detection.
