Description
Here is a great Rocky Mountain Goat from Alaska. This mount is in the head forward, looking left pose. A great older mount that we have rated at Vintage. Looking at eyes and workmanship we are estimating this mount from the 1960-1970’s era. (See attached photos). We have given him a secondary rating of Nice as he has had some damage done to the ears. This is most visible on the right ear with an up close inspection. Horn lengths for this Billy are 7 5/8″ and 7 6/8″ with bases of 3 5/8″ and 3 6/8″. Rough Safari Club International (SCI) score would be 22 6/8″.
Overall mount dimensions are: 18″ deep x 15″ wide x 19″ high.
