Description
This is a great looking Stone Sheep from northern British Columbia (Canada). A great sized ram with horns grossing 152 3/8″ which qualifies him as a SCI bronze award class mount. He has good coloring and hair thickness. Mount features a head up, looking forward pose. He would make a great piece for the lodge or cabin. The one deduct that we have on this item is the damage that has been done to the chin and lip. (See attached photos.) While it is not noticeable at a distance, it is when viewed up close. So we have classified this mount as “Excellent” rather than a higher grade, which would be warranted by taxidermy workmanship and ram size.
Overall mount dimensions are 22″ wide x 31″ high x 22″ deep. Widest measurement on horns is 21 5/8″ from tip to tip. Beams measure just over 35 inches each. Rams have considerable weight due to their horn mass and require a solid screw for mounting and hanging. This item is equipped with a bracket for quick hanging and display.
