Description
This is a beautiful Aoudad sheep (also known as Barbary sheep). Good long horns that measure just over 25″ (inches) each with bases that are 12″ per side. A nice head up pose with a slight turn looking to his left into the room. A stately looking variety, they make a great addition to a collection of taxidermy mounts. “Excellent” overall quality rating for this mount.
Overall size is 35″ high, 24″ wide and 24″ deep. Mount hangs on a single fastener with the bracket that is already installed. Buy this taxidermy for display in the home, cabin, lodge or business.
Aoudad/Barbary sheep are native to North Africa, but have been introduced to many regions including the Southwestern USA. Technically an exotic species, many are found and hunted here in North America.
