Description
Here is a large African Zebra taxidermy rug from Tanzania. It has a flat head with mane. Taxidermy work was done by Jonas Brothers taxidermy of Denver in 1983. This rug displays wear and also has damage to the felt along the back left leg. (See attached photos) While workmanship is great, the item has some wear issues that caused us to grade this item as “Nice” and price it accordingly.
Overall mount measurements are 120″ (inches) long and 80″ across at the legs. Mount is intended for horizontal display, but could also be fitted with hangers (not provided) to mount on a wall. Zebra make good rugs for the home, lodge or business, but should be kept from heavy traffic. Excess wear can result from walking on this item as well as soiling and staining.
